Hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari (Vol. 1, Book 2, Hadith 25)
Narrated Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه):
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever gives in charity the value of a date fruit honestly — and Allah accepts only that which is pure — Allah will take it in His right hand and will enlarge it for him (as anyone of you brings up his baby horse), until it becomes like a mountain.”
Hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari (Vol. 4, Book 56, Hadith 793)
Narrated Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه):
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah said: ‘Spend (in charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.'”
Sadaqah Never Decreases Wealth
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Charity does not decrease wealth. No one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor. And no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.”

Shade on the Day of Judgment
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.”

Sadaqah Extinguishes Sins
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.”
